message contents: Thank you for the lovely memories of this wonderful little church I have just found on your web site. I used to visit as a girl in the early 1960's I always remember we had to press a button to light up the church before entering, a great idea. Always remember walking down the avenue head to visit with my Aunt Everlyn Stout.I now live in Cumbria as a girl I lived in Burradon.I try to visit again when I am hear with the family. Those are the days we will never forget. A great peace of history and of cause my treasured childhood. Thank you again Diana Daniels ( Nee Lynch )

message contents: Thanks for the memories Allan. Visited this church when the tattered flags were still hanging, great to see it restored. Do they not have services there now?? Went to see a wedding there when I was a girl; as the bride and groom left they threw pennies out of the cab for the children, think it was for luck. I wonder if the old custom still stands,(be a bit expensive these days I would think!!!!) It is a wonderful experience to be able to turn the pages of time backwards,thanks a million.
